Overlight – Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Overlight mobile game (the "App") handles information. The App is published by Upwards17Games ("we", "us"). You can contact us at upwards17games@gmail.com.

1. Summary

2. Information stored on your device

To let you continue where you left off, the App saves the following data in the private storage of the App on your device:

This data stays on your device. We do not collect it, transmit it to our servers, or share it with anyone. It is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear the App's data in your device settings.

The App reads your device's language setting to choose the language of the game, and detects whether your device is a phone or tablet to adapt the controls and the screen. This information is not stored or sent anywhere.

3. Information we do not collect

The App does not use your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files, and does not use cookies for tracking. It does not let you create an account or communicate with other players.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads provided by Google AdMob, including interstitial ads shown during natural pauses and rewarded video ads that you can choose to watch in exchange for an in-game benefit (such as a second chance).

To show and measure ads, Google's SDK in the App may collect and process, depending on your device, your region and your consent choices:

Google acts as an independent controller of this data for advertising purposes. How Google uses data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in the Google Privacy Policy.

Consent and your choices

5. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country to consent to the processing of personal data), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us and we will help.

6. Data sharing, retention and security

We do not sell personal information and do not receive personal information from you. Because game data stays on your device, we hold no data about you to retain or delete. Data processed by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's own policies. Data may be processed by Google in countries outside your own, under the safeguards described in Google's policies.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Since we do not collect personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data are best handled through the controls described in section 4 and with Google directly. You can also contact us at the address above and we will help you as far as we can, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or services to the App, such as analytics tools (like Google Analytics for Firebase), additional ad partners or online features. If we do, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect in the App, and the information about data collection in Google Play will be updated accordingly.
